“It was a fun way to start the weekend seeing the debut club performance of “Broken Daisies” at The Jungle in Union Square in Somerville, MA. They were great - and a lot of other friends I hadn’t seen in a while showed up to support them - sold out the venue!” - Dana Baker
“Broken Daisies - Because you liked music better when it had guitar solos and your musical attention span lasts longer then 2 minutes and 40 seconds.” - Tim Bongiovanni, Northgate Studios
“I loved your music! Very catchy melodies and you might be the closest I ever get to seeing Tom Petty live!” - Bass player for Boston band: Uncommonwealth
“Three At Home played a show with Broken Daisies at The Jungle a couple of weeks ago, and they absolutely crushed it. The show was sold out and I've been so impressed to know how relatively new they are as an act because they were super tight (plus a ton of fun)!” - Mary Casiello (Three At Home, vocals and keys)
Broken Daisies are influenced by 80's, and 90’s rock. Their original alternative rock music is unique – yet you may hear shades of U2, Cranberries, and Tom Petty. They have bluesy riffs, deep lyrics, powerful melodies, and driving drums. With strong musicianship and lively shows, fans are discovering a band that is soulful and fun.
Their Story
Broken Daisies was formed in 2021 by drummer, Jim Petipas. Jim had been desiring to get back into a band for over 30 years. In the few years leading up to the band's formation, Jim sought potential interest from Anthony, Renato, Ben, and Stephen and when the timing was right the band came together.
In The Works...
The band is currently at Northgate Studio, in Bedford, Ma. working towards a 12-song album of all original music. They just released their first two singles, which you can listen to and download below! We hope to see you at one of our local shows in New England this summer!
