Broken Daisies grew up on classic rock, but they have never been interested in sounding like a tribute to the past. Their music blends those influences with a more modern alternative edge—guitar-driven songs, vocal harmonies, and melodies that stick with you. They write about the things they've lived through: hope, perseverance, faith, loss, redemption, and trying to make sense of life along the way.
The band came together in late 2021, and after four years of writing, recording, and playing together, they've found a sound that feels honest to who they are. They are currently working on our second album and releasing a new singles throughout 2026. They're not chasing trends or trying to fit into a genre—They just making the music they believe in and hoping it connects with people the same way great records have always connected with each of us.
Their Story
Broken Daisies began when drummer and songwriter Jim Petipas brought together a talented circle of musicians—Anthony Freddura (lead guitar), Stephen Kaufmann (bass and saxophone), Ben Knight (keyboard and vocals), and Renato Zeppi (guitar and vocals). What started as a long-held dream soon became a dynamic collaboration rooted in friendship, faith, and a shared desire to create meaningful music. Over time, they’ve grown into a band known for authenticity—writing songs that explore hope, struggle, and redemption through a rock lens.
In The Works
Their self-titled EP, released in August 2024, featured six original tracks plus a live studio recording of “Dear Prudence” by The Beatles. In 2025, they followed up with “Better Man,” co-produced by Tim Bongiovanni (Northgate Studios). The song and its concept video—released July 2025—highlight the band’s guitar-driven energy and lyrical depth, exploring the universal tension between becoming better or growing bitter. With its mix of spiritual honesty and classic alternative rock dynamics, “Better Man” reflects the band’s core message: hope, renewal, and the courage to grow. Looking ahead, Broken Daisies are focused on releasing new songs and videos that continue to inspire and connect with fans across New England and beyond.
Heart for Impact
Beyond their music, Broken Daisies strive to raise awareness for The Exodus Road, a nonprofit organization fighting human trafficking in the U.S. and worldwide. After meeting a representative at a local festival, the band was moved by the organization’s mission to find and free victims, train communities in prevention, and support survivors. They share in the vision of a world where no one is bought, sold, or exploited—living out the same hope and resilience reflected in their music.
